Topsport Kayaking is passionate about kayaking and racing. We have put these race series together to cater for both new and seasoned paddlers. We warmly welcome anyone new to the sport and encourage you to come along and gain some valuable river experience. Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2023!

TOPSPORT KAYAKING PRO-AM WINTER SERIES
The series consists of three kayak races on the Lower Waimakariri River in Canterbury.
Each race has a different start location with the races increasing in length as the series progresses. Race One concludes by paddling up the Kaiapoi River to the finish line under the second Bridge in the town centre. Races Two and Three finish at the SH1 Waimakariri Bridge.

TOPSPORT KAYAKING PROLOGUE SPRING SERIES
The series consists of three kayak races down from Woodstock on the Waimakariri River in Canterbury.
The section of river used for this series is the final section of the famous Coast to Coast kayak leg. The races start at Woodstock Downs and finish at the Waimakariri Gorge Bridge.. The section is approximately 14km.
